offers a full range of treatment options for individuals
with addictions, their families and the community.
The
program includes Assessment; Therapy, Step, and Educational
Groups; Individual Therapy; In-house and other support group meetings; SMART Recovery; and other related services.
There
is also a Reflection Phase where participants become peer
counselors. Participants learn
about their own addiction by working with others with
similar problems.
Residential, partial hospitalization, and and intensive day treatment services are provided. The
Counseling Center at
offers counseling and intensive out-patient services.
Health professionals will become involved in the Caduceus
Club, where they can continue to meet and work on recovery
issues with peers like themselves after returning to their
home community.
Treatment
programs are individually designed, and developed jointly
between the participant and the staff. Recommendations
are made based upon the severity of the addiction and
prior history. For some individuals, recovery will begin
with residential treatment. Other individuals may begin
with day treatment or intensive outpatient services. Determination
of length of treatment takes place on an individual basis.
Because
addictions affect the entire family,
actively involves the whole family in the treatment process.
Groups, education, and family therapy are part of the
treatment program.
